About the Opportunity:
As the successful candidate you will have a Law Clerk or Legal Assistant Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role. Your primary responsibilities will be to draft Wills and Powers of Attorney, complete intake for estates, data entry in Estate A Base, and provide assistance with the general administration of estate files, including the preparation of routine documents, assisting with probate applications and filing documents with the Court. You will also provide general administrative support as needed.
About You:
You are a team player who thrives in an environment that offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of individuals as part of a team. You possess excellent organizational skills, with high attention to detail, and must have the ability to multitask, all of which will assist you in working in this fast-paced team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are also a must for dealing effectively with the Practice Group, clients, and professionals in the interests of our clients. Experience with MS Office is a must and knowledge in the applications of Emergent, Estate A Base, Adobe Pro and PC Law are considered an asset.
