Overview

The Product Availability Supervisor (PAS) contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by ensuring the availability of product to meet customer needs and improve productivity. The PAS is responsible for developing and training capable front line union/non-union employees


Responsibilities

  • Understands and transfers warehouse operations knowledge to others including resource requirements, layout, route/bulk/transport loading, settlement and Department Of Transportation (DOT) regulations
  • Understands and achieves performance standards including Good Manufacturing Practices, Safety and Regulatory management
  • Aligns team agenda with Annual Operating Plan objectives
  • Develops others by training frontline employees - setting expectations, providing feedback and recognizing and rewarding good performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Experience in consumer packaged goods or a related industry preferred
  • 3+ years of work experience in warehousing required
  • 2+ years work experience in a supervisory position preferred
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite

 

Skills & Capabilities:

  • Strong communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and influence management skills
  • Incumbent must be able to prioritize and perform multiple tasks without losing momentum while also completing all daily tasks efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and/or weekends
