What is the opportunity?
As a VIP Insurance Specialist you will be responsible for providing advice and service to high net worth and mass-affluent clients within RBC Insurance’s High Net Worth Home and Auto business group. The VIP Insurance Specialist will lead an extensive discovery process, and offer a unique and differentiated “concierge” service. The position is located at our Meadowvale Sales Advice Centre and has a large upside from a career perspective as we build out the HNW Home & Auto business platform.
What will you do?
Effectively partner with Risk Associate Insurance Specialists to meet their HNW/Mass-Affluent client’s individual Home and Auto insurance needs.
Support the Risk Associate Insurance Specialists and their HNW/Mass-Affluent client’s with a trusted and exceptional client experience
Provides ongoing service, renewal handling and relationship management along with supporting clients through all processes after the sale is made
Provide technical expertise and advice to clients so that they better understand their unique needs and can then make informed decisions
Contribute to team sales success through achievement of individual sales goals and through effective partnering with other team members (Group Benefits Specialist, and Group Home & Auto Business Development Specialist for business owners, Living Benefits Specialist for Individual Affluent clients)
What do you need to succeed?
Requires fluency in French and English in order to serve our clients in the community with English speaking needs.

Level 2 Underwriting
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Sales Advice Centre
A demonstrated commitment to delivering a superior client experience
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 8:00 pm. We are looking for candidates who are able to work a variety of shifts within these hours, based on the needs of the business
