Adecco is currently hiring a Village Staff Supervisor for a full-time opportunity supporting hospitality operations. This role is ideal for a strong hospitality leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-volume event environments, enjoys managing on-the-ground teams, and takes pride in ensuring flawless guest experience execution from pre-opening through to closing.

In this position, you will oversee the full operational readiness and day-to-day performance of an assigned hospitality village. You will manage Guest Experience staff, ensure all guest touchpoints are fully operational, and maintain a seamless flow of service in a high-energy, international event environment where timing and coordination are critical.

  • Salary: $30.00/hour

  • Location: Vancouver, BC

  • Schedule: Variable schedule including early call times, matchdays, evenings, weekends, and peak operational periods

  • Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary

Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational readiness of each village at least two (2) hours before door opening

  • Manage Guest Experience staff working in the village including welcome desk host/hostess, gifting host/hostess, access control, and roaming personnel

  • Oversee smooth coordination of guest flow and service delivery throughout the village

  • Ensure village operations align with Hospitality Waste Management Plan and sustainability standards

  • Maintain high standards of guest experience across all village touchpoints

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stadium/hospitality leadership as required

  • Contact relevant departments in case of operational issues or service disruptions

  • Escalate issues when immediate resolution cannot be achieved on site

  • Support real-time decision-making in a fast-paced, high-energy environment

  • Maintain clear communication with teams to ensure seamless matchday execution

  • Ensure consistent service delivery during peak arrival and departure periods

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Fluent in English and the local language of the venue country is an asset depending on location

  • Minimum 18 years of age

  • Previous experience in hospitality, events, guest services, or large-scale operations

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, physically demanding environments

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable working in crowded, high-energy event settings

  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities

  • Ability to remain professional under pressure in live event conditions

  • Physically able to support long shifts in active outdoor/indoor environments

  • Professional, polished appearance at all times

  • Must comply with uniform and grooming standards
