We’re looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join our growing Prestige team!
As an Underwriting Assistant, your work will have a big impact on the Prestige team. People will count on you to triage all incoming work, set up new business quotes and processing. This position is reporting to the Manager, Prestige and is based in our Vancouver office.

You’ll also handle many key responsibilities:
Process insurance policy and set up new business quotes into the systems
Support the underwriting team by answering inbound phone inquiries in a timely and professional manner and perform some outbound calls
Review select underwriting reports and establish required action based on authority level
Answer straightforward inquiries from brokers promptly and courteously
Other duties and tasks as required
Minimum of 1 year Underwriting Assistant experience required
Personal Lines, Broker Service Unit experience is a strong asset
Team player with a positive attitude
Legendary customer service and relationship building skills
Proficient data entry skills and strong attention to detail
Exemplary written and verbal communication
Adaptable and flexible with the ability to prioritise work
Highly organized to manage workflow efficiently without continuous supervision
Computer proficient with the ability to navigate through multiple system (Contact PL, Tiger, One Shield and PAXUS, iClarify, Autoplus, Content Verse)
