SUMMARY

We are seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Manager to manage and grow a defined portfolio within the Greater Toronto Area, focusing on specialized surgical products within a hospital setting. This is a client-facing role requiring strong clinical engagement, consultative selling, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic relationships with key stakeholders, and supporting clinical teams through product expertise and in-procedure support. This role will be an 18 month contract work from home office role, with the opportunity to reassess longer term needs. Compensation is dependent on individual needs, and will include salary, bonus, car allowance, and other supports.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree required

- Demonstrated experience in medical device sales, ideally surgical products

- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets

- Strong skills in business planning, territory management, and financial analysis

- Ability to engage both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in hospital environments

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

- Demonstrated consultative selling capabilities

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to manage and prioritize across a broad geographic territory

- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., SalesForce.com) and general computer literacy

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive sales of specialized surgical products within targeted hospital accounts to meet and exceed quarterly targets

- Develop and execute both short- and long-term territory and account strategies to achieve annual revenue objectives

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, hospital administration, and other key stakeholders

- Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand existing product utilization within accounts

- Provide in-theatre support during surgical procedures, ensuring proper product use and troubleshooting as required

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of product specifications and clinical outcomes to effectively advise customers

- Utilize CRM systems to manage account activity, strategy, and cross-functional collaboration

- Lead relevant portions of tender processes and collaborate with internal teams to support successful contract awards

- Participate in regional and North American meetings, conferences, and training sessions as required

- Manage territory budget in alignment with company policies

- Ensure compliance with all internal processes and customer agreements
