Accounts payable Technician

Department: Accounting

Location: Laval (4204 Industrial Blvd., Laval)

Hybrid mode: 3 days at the Laval office and 2 days remotely

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, within the Shared Accounting Services team, the Accounts Payable Technician supports the Accounts Payable team in processing invoices and issuing payments.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Invoice entry in computer system;

• Reconcile data/purchases recorded at points of sale, versus statements received from suppliers;

• Issue payment lists;

• Create accounting entries;

• Analyze various accounts;

• Respond to requests from internal managers and suppliers;

• Any other related task.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education:

• AEC ou DEC en comptabilité;

Experiences:

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience;

Knowledge and skills

• Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality in handling files;

• Respect tight deadlines;

• Be meticulous yet quick to execute;

• Demonstrate a high level of customer service;

• Able to work alone or in a group;

• Proficiency with Office.

Language skills

• Bilingualism required (French and English) both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
