We are looking for a Technical Lead with experience in AWS Glue, Python and you will play a key part in enabling our team to build reusable, schema-on-read-based pipelines and robust data catalogs to support business-critical applications.

In this role, you will

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures using AWS Glue Studio and AWS Glue ETL.
  • Be responsible for the development and deployment of data pipelines and workflows in Amazon S3.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team in Python and Apache Spark.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure data solutions meet business requirements.
  • Ensure data integrity and security across all data platforms and solutions.
  • Fix and resolve issues related to data pipelines and workflows.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

  • Must have good experience in Python for data engineering tasks.
  • Must have hands-on experience with AWS Glue Studio and AWS Glue ETL.
  • Must have expertise in managing and processing data in Amazon S3.
  • Solid experience with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Prior experience with other AWS services such as Lambda Redshift and Athena.

What will help you stand out (preferred skills)

  • Prior working experience in Cloud formation templates
  • AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect, Big Data.
