The Opportunity:
WSP is searching for the right person to serve as the system administrator for our in-house Global CADD Delivery System. This is an enterprise system that helps our CADD professionals efficiently deliver innovative designs to our diverse clients. In this role you will partner with vendors and business leaders to deliver industry leading practices now and into the future. You will be part of the Global Engineering Applications team. Specifically, you will be a fulltime resource on a team of subject matter experts and developers from the business. Your role will empower thousands of engineers and designers.

A day in the life:
- Work with business leaders to forecast future requirements
- Ensure operational readiness requirements are met with regards to reliability, safety and integrity
- Assist with backlog prioritization and maintenance for delivery of business value to users and stakeholders.
- Planning and running successful workshops to understand business and solution requirements
- Provide subject matter expertise to the business leads to facilitate and improve the effective and efficient operation
- Planning and running successful workshops to understand business and solution requirements
- Develop and assist the operations team to apply effective maintain application/program integrity year over year
- Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for specific technical problems related to the reliability or maintenance of applications/programs
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholder groups, GCDS team, vendors, and IT groups on needs, priorities, updates, delivery of improvements, and feedback.
- Provide troubleshooting documentation to first tier support and address escalated user support
What you'll bring to WSP ...
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- 4 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience working as a business analyst in an agile user-focused environment.
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Knowledge of Powershell and VB.
- Modern business analysis mindset with a focus on the customer.
- Ability to see both the big picture as well as the very detailed needs of our different stakeholders.
- Experience eliciting requirements and feedback from a wide variety of stakeholder groups.
- Ability and confidence to respectfully challenge stakeholders from senior leaders to new hires of the organization on their assumptions and current processes to arrive at a shared understanding of business needs and priorities.
- Ability to collaborate with and challenge technical teams and vendors on user-friendly solutions and options to provide great customer experiences and meet business needs.
- Ability to learn new applications and technologies quickly.
- Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, and effectively articulating complex data in a simple, actionable manner.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
- Ability to work schedules conducive to global teamwork that may require occasional meetings/work outside of the typical workday.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Experience working with engineers and scientists such as architects, structural engineers, environmental engineers, hydrogeologists, and environmental scientists.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish
- Passion and empathy for collaborating with users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders digitally as well as in person.
- Experience with Microsoft Teams and the updated Microsoft Whiteboard, Mural, Miro, or similar tools for digital collaboration.
- Experience working with systems including mobile apps, databases, and web interfaces.
- Experience with TechSmith Camtasia and SnagIt or similar tools for training material development.
- Experience with Autodek Revit
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps Boards, Jira, or similar tools.
