The End User Computing Technical Advisor Specialist is responsible for assessment, planning, design, testing, and technical documentation for the Collaborative services of the Enterprise, including; Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), messaging, IM, presence, file sharing, and other UCC services. Responsibility for evaluating the current state of Enterprise End User Computing (EUC) services and creating new solutions and services that respond to business and technical needs. Work with fellow Specialists as well as Experts on projects that require EUC involvement.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:

Along with the Experts provide input into the long term strategic vision in the EUC and Collaboration (UCC) Landscape for the organization.
Actively research, evaluate and drive next generation collaboration technologies and solutions to solve Business needs
Provide input into the Unified Communications and Collaboration solutions, be involved in helping to build PoCs, and oversee the technical implementation and transfer to production. 
Work in a self-driven, fast-paced environment.
Communicate effectively in writing and in person,
Collaborate effectively with diverse teams to produce quality results.
Recognize and adapt to frequent changes in priority and direction as business needs change.
Assist with RFQs, RFPs and BOMs when needed
As required, assist in high level support on major incidents

Your Skills

B.S. in Computer Science or related field
A minimum of 8-10 years industry experience.
A minimum of five (5) years of experience with VDI / UDI Solutions, SCCM expertise and implementation of collaboration solutions, active Directory (including ADFS and AAD Connect)
A minimum of three (3) year with Microsoft Office 365 Exchange Cloud, Client messaging and collaboration
Experience with Hosted Collaboration Solutions and Cloud Architectures
Ability to architect advanced collaboration/unified communications solutions at multiple level of the enterprise
Knowledge with security policies and technology: VPN, encryption, risk assessment, firewalls, proxies.
Experience in working in large and complex IT environments (tiered architecture, distributed data centres, complex support team hierarchy, etc.).
Data networking basics (TCP/IP, routing & switching, etc.).
Experience in server management is desirable. The candidate has to understand the basics of Windows server OS and VMWare.
IM technology and other smartphone solutions: platforms, hardware, OSs, middleware, synchronization solutions.
Strong MS Office skills in using and developing documents, technical diagrams, spreadsheets, and presentations are required
Proficient in both leading and managing the design and the execution of a large enterprise-wide environment (+10,000 mailboxes).
Proficiency in PowerShell, automation, and optimization of client computing environments.
Ability to bring together ad-hoc teams of people from various IT departments and business units, in order to address specific problems.
Be comfortable in a highly dynamic team structure with fluid governance.
Experience working in large organizations, ability to follow complex design, compliance and support processes.
