Team Leader, Van Operations

We are currently seeking a Team Leader, Van Operations based in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities:

• Drive a safety-first culture.
• Contribute to and deliver short term and long-term operational strategies to accelerate business growth.
• Coach, train, develop and lead staff.
• Vacation coverage of staff.
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
• Work with fleet managers to improve driver engagement and the management of individual drivers.
• Analyze division KPIs to improve network efficiency.
• Build strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Work directly with drivers to address any issues/inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Operational experience would be considered an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership acumen.
• Effective communication style at all levels in the organization, a willingness to share information, and a collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
