It will be required to be 1 day per week in office
Reporting to the Health and Dental Manager, the Team Leader is responsible to lead and manage a team of Medical or Dental Senior Analysts. The successful candidate will be:
Enthusiastic about delivering on improvements that directly impact the Client Experience
Effective communication skills and ability to influence teams across multiple stakeholders and collaborate towards execution on key deliverables.
The individual must also take ownership and drive to problem solve complex cases as they occur and take part in various projects within the department.
Additionally, the individual is responsible for developing, scheduling, training, and orienting staff members to achieve objectives while maintaining a positive team spirit.
Manage team performance and daily distribution of work to ensure department and national daily goals are accomplished.
Respond to team member questions throughout the day and provide feedback regularly on production and quality.
Function as a SME and provide support on solving complex claim problems.
Ensure that changes concerning products, practices, environment, and systems are executed and communicated effectively.
Manage information requests (internal and external) by telephone, email and writing.
Implement tools and reports to follow up and measure objectives.
Drive change management.
Collaborate effectively with both internal and external business partners.
Ability to identify and highlight operational efficiencies through digital initiatives.
Forward thinking with an eye for opportunities, continuous improvements, and risk mitigation.
Data driven and creative problem solver: Ability to gather data, analyze, interpret, and drive actions based on data insights.

Knowledge of MS Office tools (MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWER POINT)
As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only as the position includes managing both French and English-speaking staff (Quebec and outside Quebec) and providing daily support to the team.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
