JACK is looking for ROADIES!
A JACK ROADIE is a highly reliable, punctual and people-loving soul who thrives on crowd-energy, mobile events and is proud to represent the joyful, playful fun that is JACK 92.9
When does most fun happen? On weekends and as a JACK ROADIE you get to spend time on the road, being in the middle of the action; community events, entertainment showcases, parades, beachside, etc.
Rogers Radio Jack 92.9 Halifax is seeking Roadies to help spread awareness of our dynamic, unique and popular brand.
What you will do...
- Execute station events and on-site promotions.
- Execute on-air contests and promotions
- Record and track winner information.
- Write, record and upload cut-ins incorporating station/client information provided.
- Maintain cleanliness of station vehicle.
- Be involved in scheduling and detailed planning of events/locations.
- Emcee events as required.
- Assist in setting up remotes and/or promotional events with all required components (prizing, staff, vehicle and signage).
- Maintain promotional signage, draw boxes, entry forms and equipment including station vehicle.
- Attend all major station promotions and designated client promotions as needed.
- Attend and participate in meetings when required
What you will bring...
- Minimum one year radio experience is preferred.
- On-air/voice tracking experience an asset.
- Experience in marketing an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and strong desire and passion to succeed.
- Ability to work well under minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent writing and comprehension skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Must be able to operate computer office programs and media platforms.
- Must hold a valid class license and provide Driver’s Abstract (Cost absorbed by Rogers).
