The Learner Services department’s role in student success is to create a culture and environment that unleashes the full potential of all the students at SAIT. Our primary goal is to support Student-First Culture, by focusing on student success and mobilizing all campus community members in this shared goal.

The Opportunity
SAIT Summer Camps (SSC) is hiring camp administrators for the 2023 summer day camps. The candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in the area of child and youth education. The candidate will have experience supervising peers/adults. This individual should also have strong verbal and written communication skills evidenced by their customer service experience, which will be utilized frequently in this program.  
 
As part of the camp administration team, Camp Administrators must have strong interpersonal skills. They must enjoy, and have experience working with, groups of children and youth. This individual will be responsible for answering public inquiries, contacting families by phone and/or email, and being a reliable leader for our staff.  
 
This fast-paced, deadline-driven position requires an exceptional attitude, organizational skills, time management capabilities, and communication skills. This leadership position is essential to ensuring the camp experience runs smoothly and is enjoyable for campers, camp leaders, parents, and staff.  
 
Camp Administrators may be assigned to support particular areas of summer camp operations. These areas include but are not limited to; Curriculum Development, Data Assistance, Inclusion Planning, and Supply/Inventory Management. If you have skills in one of these areas, please make note of this in your cover letter.  

Classification: Camp Administrator
Hourly rate: $21.56/hr - $22.31/hr
Number of positions: 4
Position start date: May 3, 2023
Position end date: August 16, 2023
