Your Opportunity

The Stantec Winnipeg office has an immediate need for a full-time Structural Engineer – EIT to become part of our dynamic team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Working on a variety of projects.
  • Ability to interact with a wide variety of clients and contractors.
  • Knowledge of structural design software.
  • Ability to investigate construction related issues for new and existing structures.
  • Preparation and review of technical reports.
  • Provision of Quality Control and Quality Assurance services.
  • Travel to various sites to undertake field reviews.
  • Become actively engaged in a significant volunteer role with a variety of trade associations.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Experienced with the Manitoba Building Codes and various material CSA standards.
  • Interest to work on projects in architectural and industrial based projects.
  • A self-starter who is innovative and enjoys working in a team environment.

Education and Experience

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent education.

Minimum 4 years' experience in CAD, BIM and Navisworks operation and design working on buildings projects

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may require travel and include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
