Your Opportunity
The Stantec Winnipeg office has an immediate need for a full-time Structural Engineer – EIT to become part of our dynamic team.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Working on a variety of projects.
- Ability to interact with a wide variety of clients and contractors.
- Knowledge of structural design software.
- Ability to investigate construction related issues for new and existing structures.
- Preparation and review of technical reports.
- Provision of Quality Control and Quality Assurance services.
- Travel to various sites to undertake field reviews.
- Become actively engaged in a significant volunteer role with a variety of trade associations.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experienced with the Manitoba Building Codes and various material CSA standards.
- Interest to work on projects in architectural and industrial based projects.
- A self-starter who is innovative and enjoys working in a team environment.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering from an accredited university with the goal of obtaining full membership with EGM.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in contracting/consulting within a Structural Engineering team. This is an entry level (Engineer-In-Training) position.
