• Assist the Procurement Supervisor in the procurement of store fixtures. This will require you to research and seek industry solutions, source supply, compile fixture details, specifications, and costing to procure store fixtures effectively.
• Work with suppliers to collect product and category information including samples, quotes, marketing collateral etc. May have limited buying responsibility for a small number of fixtures and store equipment products in a non-complex area. This responsibility includes negotiation, mitigation of costs, and holds Suppliers accountable for item compliance and accuracy.
• Execute supplier-proposed cost increase/cost validation process cross functionally with Price Analyst by submitting Cost Change analysis and Price Analysis to support the assessment of net impact of cost or price changes. Based on the cost change analysis, negotiate cost increase with the supplier.
• Maintain all department budgeting templates and communicate cost changes as required for the smooth operation of the department.
• Create estimates and budgets for the Home Dealer and the Dealer Finance department regarding the store fixtures and services costs for a store project.
• Create accurate quantity take-offs, orders (create purchase orders) & expedites the deliveries of all fixture components, to support the approved store design, which includes store exterior, interior, lighting, flooring, shelving, and fixtures, merchandising accessories, and millwork.
• Prepare communication to provide Dealers and internal stakeholders with category information, order checklists, and special purchase offerings.
• Investigate and solution issues that may arise with store fixtures and respond to Dealers and suppliers in a timely manner.

• Post-secondary education in Business/ Merchandising with 3-5 years of experience.
• Proven ability to work as part of a team.
• The flexibility to balance multiple tasks.
• Understanding of merchandising principles and the store fixture industry is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Home Improvement / Retail industry.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and organization skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD is an asset.
