Job Description

What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of all activities related to trade capture operations in domestic and global markets for all client segments

What will you do?

  • Efficient and accurate processing of client trades including repair, validation and manual input
  • Efficient and accurate processing of client cancellations/corrections
  • Leverage your technical skills to optimize and automate operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes
  • Contributes to environment of continuous improvement that assesses workflow, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality within the department
  • Follows preset procedures ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as corporate audit and risk management requirements.
  • Contributes to satisfactory results in all internal & external audits
  • Display work ethics that fosters team spirit and a respectable workplace
  • Assist others in the team during high volume periods and staff shortage
  • Collaborate with management decisions and discretions that are required to mitigate risks
  • Ensure sufficient cross-training plans are in place and achieved for sufficient coverage during unexpected FTE shortage within and outside the team.
  • Knowledge and “client exception” sharing to ensure proper coverage at all times
  • Support and adopt to new initiatives

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Solid knowledge of Trade Processing principles
  • Very strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented qualities
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Strong team focus
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet very strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and ensure accuracy/efficiency
