The Splicer operates electronic splicing equipment, assembles components, supports the team lead, ensures product quality, handles inventory, and uses relevant software. They follow safety standards, maintain a clean workspace, and provide training to team members.
The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.

Salary: $18.00+ depending on experience
Location: Ottawa, ON
Shifts: Monday – Friday | Days 8am to 4pm | Evening shift 4pm to 12am

Responsibilities:
Uses electronic splicing equipment for assembly purposes.
Independently assembles components according to specific drawings and procedures and process documentation.
Independently provides support to the Manufacturing Team Lead.
Identifies, articulates and escalates problems or issues for Technical Support or Engineering, and assists in gathering requested information and proof necessary to help establish the root cause of problems and determine corrective action.
Recognizes discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product or process, and recommends changes.
Conducts product inspection, documenting as required, according to specific procedures.
Uses a variety of current software to properly execute required computer transactions, such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel.
Properly executes on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions.
Ability to utilize, understand and follow Kitting protocols for planned and customized orders.
Orders and ensures any printed labels are correct and transacted to the correct planned order on tracker.
Works with Engineering to implement continuous improvement.
Identifies, reads/interprets and applies complex ECO modifications or other instructions.
Records data on a daily basis.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and performance standards.
Provides training and guidance to less experienced team members.
May be required to read wiring tables.
Supports other company requirements when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience.
