POSITION SUMMARY
BlackBerry is seeking a Software Development Student to work within the the BlackBerry Optics Endpoint Detection and Response organization.
Location: Waterloo, ON
Length of Term: 4 Months
RESPONSIBILITIES
Backend Cloud microservice development (Java, Python, Go)
Frontend UI development (React, Material-UI, Node.js, JavaScript)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a related program or discipline
Ability to analyze information
General programming skills
Familiarity and experience with Software design, debugging, documentation and testing
Strong problem solving and teamwork
Software development fundamentals and familiarity with the Software development process
