We are now recruiting for a Software Architect (Automation) to join our Information and Technology Services (IaTS) team. The role is currently working from home 4 days a week and 1 day a week from our head office in Burnaby, BC. Apply this week if you would like to take on this role.
Key Ways This Position Makes An Impact
The Software Architect works with the business to understand automation needs and how existing automation can meet those needs.
In this role you would lead the process to define requirements, perform business analysis and design and implement maintainable solutions.
This role provides technical direction on design considerations for security, performance, scalability, availability, maintainability, disaster recovery and uptime.
You would advise and lead the business through high impact tasks in the systems development lifecycle including deployment.
As a Software Architect, you will define architecture and infrastructure requirements and provide architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the delivery teams.
This role establishes and maintains automation architecture best practices and communicates standards, guidelines.
You would configure new processes using workflow principles, maintain process documentation, and provide support for required fixes.
Key Experiences You Bring To This Role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Architect role
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Robotic Process Animation including experience with features and functionalities of RPA and RPA tools
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Blue Prism or similar RPA tool
- Experience with Microsoft Technology (C#/.NET, Sharepoint, Microsoft SQL Server, Web Services)
- Strong understanding of enterprise software integration patterns, API’s, and related security patterns
- Experience with Agile methodology
