BCIT's School of Health Sciences is seeking a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Simulation Tech IIto join their team. This role is complex and requires flexibility, creativity and excellent organization and time management skills. The Simulation Technician’s responsibilities are based on concepts of experiential learning and simulation-based education. This role is responsible for providing support services to simulation faculty including the set-up and breakdown of simulation scenarios and basic troubleshooting of simulation equipment and technologies. The Simulation Technician has a basic understanding of simulation-based education and healthcare equipment and terminology. Due to the advancement of simulation technologies, it is important for this role to demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies.
