Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to support our clients’ operations in Concord, ON. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, preparing, and shipping products while ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with company procedures. This role requires you to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and support customer satisfaction through efficient shipping and receiving practices.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Location: Concord, ON
Shift: 10am – 6pm – potential added OT during high-volume periods

Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage, defects, or discrepancies
Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and documentation
Package and prepare dies and related documentation for outgoing shipments
Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs paperwork
Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
Ensure proper storage and handling of incoming and outgoing materials
Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities
Communicate shipping and receiving issues promptly to the Supervisor
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment as required
Report unsafe or inefficient conditions immediately to the Supervisor
Accurately complete all required paperwork and workflow documentation as directed
Follow all workplace safety rules and wear required safety equipment at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area
Work overtime as required, including short-notice overtime for critical shipments
Occasionally assist other departments (e.g., Plate Making and Mounting) to support operational needs and skill development
Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer and business requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures and regulations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems
Flexibility to work overtime as required
Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
