Adecco is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Associate for a full-time opportunity in Cumberland, ON. This role is ideal for reliable and detail-oriented candidates who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and are comfortable supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations.

In this position, you will assist with shipping and receiving activities, inventory organization, warehouse support, and equipment operation while helping maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This opportunity offers temp-to-perm potential for candidates looking to grow within a supportive team environment.

  • Salary: $20/hour

  • Location: Cumberland, ON

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, and shipment documentation

  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damages, and completeness

  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities

  • Organize and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure products are stored properly and easily accessible

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory audits

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring products are handled carefully

  • Support other departments as needed, including production and quality control tasks

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment

  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse protocols

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations is preferred

  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is an asset

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable, motivated, and safety-conscious attitude
