Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties
LIFESCI 4Z03 – Advanced Inquiry in the Life Sciences
Offers in-depth exploration of a topic in the life sciences in the context of current societal challenges. Students will formulate questions and seek answers through critically evaluating research literature and interpreting data. They will communicate the meaning and significance of scientific findings through written, visual or oral formats in a collaborative learning environment.
Lecture (two hours), Tutorials (two hours); one term
This position covers the second half of the course, starting March 2, 2026.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. preferred, or combination of relevant education and teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Research and teaching experience is preferred, with a background in:
4Z03 – Final deliverable in this course is a systematic review protocol – familiarity with writing this type of protocol, search strategy, development essential. Supervising graduate student TAs, oversee marking of final deliverables.

*Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement. The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount. If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
