The MPP invites applications for an instructor for the course PUBPOL 740: Principles of Numeracy during the spring/summer 2025 session.
This skills lab provides an overview of the fundamental concepts and tools in mathematics that will be employed throughout the program.
This course has a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online delivery. It will be delivered in an intensive manner during the Spring-Summer term, for a period of one-third of the term. The precise dates will be determined in consultation with the instructor.
The successful candidate will have a track record of research and teaching appointments at the rank commensurate with an Adjunct Professor or Associate Professor.
Applicants must have an area of specialization in the fundamentals of mathematics and statistics. The Faculty of Social Sciences and MPP have significant strengths in the areas of research, teaching and mentorship. The successful applicant will teach at graduate level and have a demonstrated track record of excellent teaching.
The incumbent will be appointed at the appropriate rank with MPP, located on the main university campus to begin on May 1st, 2025.
