The MPP invites applications for the following teaching position in the 2025-26 academic year:

 

PUBPOL 711: Law and Public Policy

 

This course explores law, the courts and administrative agencies as important policy influences and sites of decision-making authority for and on digital policymaking. It examines private and public law foundations, institutions and issues as a means of governing the regulation of digital markets and platforms. Existing precedents and emerging, real-world cases will be discussed.

 

The successful candidate will have a track record of research and teaching appointments at the rank commensurate with an Adjunct Professor, Associate Professor or Professor of Practice.

 

Applicants must have an area of specialization in law and public policy, law and public admininstation, or administrative law. The Faculty of Social Sciences and MPP have significant strengths in the areas of research, teaching and mentorship. The successful applicant will teach at graduate level and have a demonstrated track record of excellent teaching.

 

The incumbent will be appointed at the appropriate rank with MPP, located on the main university campus to begin September 2025.
