Projected TA Support: 8x130 hrs. per section (1040 hours per section)

 

 

 

Wage Rate*: $8943.00                                                          

 

Start Time and Duration:     C01 Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 pm

 

C02 Wednesday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 pm

 

 

 

 

 

Course Description/Relevant Employment Duties

 

 

 

Fundamentals of entrepreneurship via a series of guest lectures by prominent entrepreneurs. Case studies will be used to analyze strategies and methods for growing a scalable business.

 

 

 

One Tutorial (one hour) plus one Lecture (two hours); 3 hours total per section
 

 

Prerequisite(s): None

 

Antirequisite(s): None

 

 

 

Instructor will have full responsibility for the course offering, including teaching (preparation and delivery of lectures, seminars, discussion periods), student assessment (development of assessments such as quizzes, tests, examinations, laboratory assignments, evaluation of students), responding to student inquiries (holding scheduled office hours, responding to student inquiries outside of scheduled lecture times), attending meetings with Supervisor, and preparing and submitting learning outcomes measurement for the course.  All course components will be offered in person. The successful applicant must be available at the scheduled lecture times. 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications – Post Secondary Degree

 

 

 

Preferred Qualifications – Master’s Degree (or higher) and ten years relevant experience

*Supplemented Fees- 15.02(a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement.  The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount.  If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
