As a Java Test Automation Developer, you will join a dynamic team and take part in the development of system specifications, the application of software engineering best practices, code development, testing and program debugging. You will work as part of a collaborative team conducive to improving everybody’s skills.
Workplace: Montreal (2020, Robert-Bourassa Blvd.)
Work in close collaboration with the Product Owners, developers, and Scrum Masters to resolve issues by performing sufficient analysis to determine the root cause of defects, as required,
Responsible for the development of high quality reusable automated tests for strategic systems as part of a DevOps approach.
Participate in all project phases to ensure their realization by collaborating with users and advising them.
Support Intact in improving its agile maturity and actively participate in an agile development team (Scrum).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
5 to 8 years of experience in a similar position
Good knowledge of Java (1.8 or higher) or other object-oriented language
Knowledge of SQL, recommended.
Good knowledge of IDE Eclipse or IntelliJ, an asset
Good knowledge of SOAP and REST technologies, an asset
Ability to learn test automation tools: Katalon, Selenium, framework Cucumber, Test Manager for Jira (TM4J), BDD, Jmeter, Git
Knowledge of Agile and Scrum approaches, preferred
Bilingual, English and French
Initiative and autonomy
Ability to analyze and synthesize data
Team player and detail-oriented
