The Senior Relationship Manager plays a critical role in developing strong cross functional relationships at the senior management level of our clients’ organizations so that we effectively identify and capitalize on opportunities in all product lines. This individual will provide a full suite of services to assigned corporate clients and manage the client relationship across product lines.
The senior relationship manager will manage and strengthen the relationship with assigned clients
Actively identifies and pursues cross sell and upsell opportunities and mobilizes the right team and resources for each sale opportunity
As a thought leader, offers clients strategic vision and big-picture thinking.
Understands & articulates client’s most critical issues & challenges and works with other business units to provide innovative solutions that effectively meet client needs.
Acts as project manager and owner through issue resolution, dealing with other departments on the client’s behalf
Independently reviews legal agreements, trust documentation, and other similar agreements, assessing degree of responsibility, profitability and risk for TSX Trust; consults with internal counsel, provides information to corporate clients, their legal counsel and underwriters, signs contracts on behalf of TSX Trust and coordinates and attends closings.
Act as a resource internally regarding industry practices, products, trends, services.
Performs fee analysis and re-negotiate/install new fee schedule with clients.
Develops and executes call plans for all clients. Find opportunities across all product areas and build action plans accordingly.
Prepares proposals, negotiate contracts and develops positive relationships within multiple functions at client organization
Works closely with the product development and business management of all product areas to help craft solutions to meet client needs.
Alerts senior management to real or potential issues. Posts and updates Client At Risk information on Salesforce
Manage the process of transferring new business to TSX Trust; ensure complete client documentation is in place; facilitate the effective integration of new clients into the ongoing operation and ensure appropriate system set up to allow the account to be run efficiently
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Post secondary education in Business Management and/or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar large enterprise client relationship management role in the financial services industry
Excellent client management and relationship building skills
Proficient in both Microsoft Office and Google Suite is highly preferred
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is preferred
Bilingual English/French, an asset
