What you will be doing:
The Information Technology (IT) department manages the technology and computer infrastructure that drives Tangerine’s business systems.
The IT department supports the organization in these critical areas: End-User Technical Support, Desktop Management, Network Management, Voice and Data Communications, Business and Web Applications and Strategic Technical Planning.
The Senior Network Security Administrator position is a key member of the Network and Delivery Services Team who will design and develop of network security tools and define best security practice on premise and hybrid environment. In addition, the candidate will also responsible for network and endpoint security administration, monitoring, ongoing security analysis and troubleshooting consistent with service delivery requirements. The candidate should have a strong background and good understanding on define policies, access control, logging management and network monitoring. The successful incumbent will be a strong problem solver with excellent organization and interpersonal skills. In addition, this person will have excellent documentation skills and be team player. The Senior Network Security Administrator will report directly to the Team Lead of Network Security.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Design implement administer and maintain network and endpoint security solutions providing support for a high available production environment that has an uptime of 24X7X365
• Security solutions deployed must be adhere to Tangerine standard and directives as well as security industry best practice.
• Configure and maintain security solution on-prem/hybrid. Assist other teams in development of their solution as required.
• Implement upgrades, repairs, modifications, and replacements of security devices or software.
• Monitor and assess security compliance through regular review of technical specifications, configurations, logs, scripts, etc., and conduct regular security checks on connections (internal/ external) and systems to identify vulnerability.
• Experience on network or endpoint security-related hardware and software, network and host-based intrusion prevention system, next gen firewalls, VPN, SSL, TLS, PKI, cryptography, application control, EPP, EDR, CASB, DLP, MDM, MFA, Proxy Servers, Sandboxing, Next Gen Anti-virus, and Anti-Spam
• Ability to review raw log, data correlation and analysis with the above technologies. (i.e. NG firewall, IPS, proxy, Wireless, and system logs)
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills to support a highly complex environment.
• Review operation logs and event console activity to identify potential security-related events, determine cause of such events, and recommend respective counter measures
• Responsible for compiling, reviewing, reporting and completing monthly KRI (Key Risk Indicator) reports with respect to network security and network systems
• Communicate network security exposures, misuse, or noncompliance situations to management, and execute appropriate incident response procedures approved by the management
• Install, configure, and support all networking security hardware including cabling.
• Research, evaluate, design, test, recommend, and plan implementation of new or improved security software/hardware/devices.
• Assist in maintaining and testing business continuity/disaster recovery plans, processes, and procedures necessary to recover services in the event of a declared disaster
• Handle other duties as assigned by IT Management
• Knowledge of security tools used in supporting multiplatform environments, risk assessment procedures, authorization methodologies, authentication technologies, network security assessment, security penetration and vulnerability testing.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
• Education/Experience: University or College Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of working experience in support of a large scale, mission critical enterprise security infrastructure
• Experience in financial services industry is highly desired
• Professional Certification: Related security and networking certifications are a plus
Technical Skills:
o Familiar and working knowledge of SaaS applications such as office365, box, slack etc… Provide your expertise in configuring Tangerine tenant with industry best security practice as well as adhere to Tangerine standard and directives.
o Hands on experience in next gen Firewall, IPS, Proxy and Wireless are required
o Experience on network or endpoint security-related hardware and software, network and host-based intrusion prevention system, next gen firewalls, VPN, SSL, TLS, PKI, cryptography, application control, EPP, EDR, DLP, MDM, MFA, Forward/Reverse Proxy, Sandboxing, Next Gen Anti-virus, and Anti-Spam products.
o Knowledge of security tools used in supporting multiplatform environments, risk assessment procedures, authorization methodologies, authentication technologies, network security assessment, security penetration and vulnerability testing.
o Excellent knowledge with current operating systems (Windows, UNIX, AIX, OS X and Linux), network applications, all network layers, routing, switching and related protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, SSL, SFTP, FTP, SSH, TELNET, DNS, DHCP, VRRP, RIP, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, SNMP and RMON etc.)
