Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Mobile Testing Engineer with 7 to 12 years of testing experience with strong expertise in Mobile Testing to join our team in QEA practice. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital e-commerce applications through comprehensive manual and automated testing. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software testing methodologies and collaborate closely with development teams to drive quality from the inception to the deployment of our digital solutions.

What you bring to the role:

• Overall 7+ years in Quality Assurance Software Testing.
• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience testing mobile applications on different mobile platforms especially in iOS platform.
• Good experience in XCode, Objective C/Swift.
• Understanding of iOS App Architecture, design patterns, data structures, and layered architecture with knowledge of applying those aspects in test environments.
• Experience working with tools such as Postman, Charles, Xcode and JIRA.
• Solid understanding of writing defects, test planning & product release cycles.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines like Azure / XCode Cloud.
• Must thrive in a team environment working closely with product owners, development and design teams to better understand requirements, further investigate problems, and accelerate issues when appropriate.
• Act as an essential player in driving the QA process within the team through collaboration with internal team members.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and other testing-related documentation based on the requirements and technical specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Automated Test Frameworks and Automated Test Scripts.
• Contribute to the improvement of QA processes.
• Work collaboratively with development teams to understand project specifications, participate in design reviews, and provide insightful testing feedback.
• Display exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities, working collaboratively with team members to identify issues and improve product quality.

We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 90,000 – 110,500 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial well-being.
