Senior Marketing Manager, Personal Savings & Investments

Job Description

The RBC Personal Savings and Investments (PSI) Marketing team is seeking a passionate Senior Marketing Manager to support our digital investing objectives. In this role, you’ll lead the charge to support the momentum and growth objectives for RBC Direct Investing, RBC’s self-directed brokerage platform, and RBC InvestEase, our professionally managed online investment service. You will directly support mission-critical acquisition and engagement strategies, including the launch of exciting new features and capabilities, to position RBC to outperform the competition – today and in the future.

What will you do?  

  • Oversee the development and delivery of strategic frameworks, recommendations, creative briefs and support best-in-class execution across external platforms and internal channels

  • Lead annual and campaign planning processes, taking an insight-driven approach to prioritize marketing opportunities with largest impact

  • Fuel integration across multiple stakeholder groups, collectively developing campaign/program strategies and successfully executing on business needs and priorities

  • Develop robust Go-to-Market Strategies to capitalize on exciting new product, offer and capability launches

  • Own the narrative around Marketing Objectives and Key Results by creating and presenting marketing results dashboards to the leadership team

  • Build and execute tactical marketing plans with cross functional teams and external agencies

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have 

  • 7+ years of broad marketing expertise across all marketing disciplines, with depth of experience in digital, social, targeted channels

  • Experience planning, executing, and reporting on marketing programs that deliver ROI-centric results

  • Creative eye combined with keen attention to detail; willing to be bold and challenge the status quo

  • Experience working with external agencies to translate strong briefs into breakthrough creative

  • A growth mindset and a strong track record of insight-led marketing in a culture that values a collaborative approach

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and socializing marketing strategies, recommendations, and business plans to all levels of the organization

  • Proven ability to both think strategically and execute with excellence; must be an enthusiastic, well-organized self-starter able to use initiative and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-have 

  • University degree - undergraduate and/or MBA - in marketing or other related field

  • Previous experience in a financial institution

  • Experience supporting the launch of new features and capabilities

  • Mass marketing experience
