What is the opportunity?
This role is part of the TI Strategy & Performance Management team mandated to help define and support TI's bold ambitions and transformation journey. As Senior Manager, Strategy, you will be instrumental in being a thought partner, challenger, and problem-solver working to identify, co-develop, and detail key strategies and initiatives that provide visibility and transparency into the evolution of the organization. The successful candidate will lead analysis of strategic issues, opportunities and threats that face TI, drive resolution and implementation plans for critical opportunities, and build & support a competitive intelligence framework to proactively shape and guide our evolution as a tech-centric organization. The successful candidate will work closely with members of TI Operating Committee (OC), and their leadership teams from across the organization and will have the opportunity to learn from and partner with technology leaders and rising talents.
What Will You Do?
Strategy Development: Lead and support the development of strategic initiatives and implementation plans, ensuring they are well-developed, clearly articulated, backed by a solid business case, and aligned with the broader group’s vision.
Executive Enablement: Support in the creation of executive briefing documents, research & insights reports, strategy presentations, and more, equipping senior leaders with critical information for quick, informed decision-making on vendor relationships, initiatives, incidents, outages, etc.
Thought Leadership: Build and enhance an integrated competitive intelligence capability for TI, understanding and reporting on competitors’ strategies, tactics, strengths, and threats, and facilitating the distribution of this intelligence to key stakeholders through Strategy Forums, and upskilling colleagues across TI through Strategic Storytelling Training sessions.
Business Enablement: Provide comprehensive support across various strategic and operational tasks, including writing and reviewing PARs, creating success story presentations, and addressing other ad-hoc requests as they arise.
Ambiguity Management: Effectively navigate and manage situations with unclear or incomplete information, using critical thinking and resourcefulness to deliver actionable solutions. Demonstrate the ability to operate independently in the face of uncertainty and drive projects to successful outcomes.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Have:
5+ years’ experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic communications, or strategy experience within a Financial Services, FinTech or technology company.
Comfort working in ambiguous situations and across different lines of business.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills across levels of the organization.
Ability to translate complex technical solutions into business language.
Strong technical ability with PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience in project teams – including project design, management, implementation – as well as developing the associated project team through clear direction and performance feedback.
Keen interest in innovative technologies.
Nice-To-Have:
MBA or other post-graduate degree.
Experience working in a matrixed, professional services organization.
Senior-level leader or C-suite experience.
