What is the opportunity?
Strategy & Transformation is the primary point of connectivity across Wealth Management lines of business and to the broader RBC enterprise. As a Senior Manager, Strategy and Transformation you will support both strategy development and delivery / execution of global Wealth Management segment initiatives.
This unique opportunity requires a critical thinker with an analytical mindset to identify strategic insights as well as an experienced change management lead that can collaborate with partners to transform RBC WM.
What will you do?
STRATEGY
Provide customized strategy development and advisory support at the Wealth Management segment level and individual business line level, including research, analysis, financial modeling and preparing materials and strategic recommendations to facilitate Senior Management Team discussions
Enable informed executive decision-making through the production of competitive analyses and ad-hoc research pieces that describe the competitive landscape, traditional and non-traditional competitors, as well as emerging trends and opportunities
Work with partners in WM businesses, Technology, Operations and Products & Strategy to develop, maintain and socialize strategies and insights.
TRANSFORMATION
Support the mobilization of transformation priorities & execution of high impact cross-WM change management initiatives including change management planning, managing project activities, tracking and escalating project issues
Conduct change impact assessments, develop program governance models and execution frameworks for transformational priorities
What do you need to succeed?
Must-Haves:
3-5 years’ experience in strategy and transformation, preferably at a financial services firm
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills: interpret and assess data, identify trends and drivers, provide strategic insights
Proven ability to communicate with senior executives as well as build and present complex presentations
Build and maintain collaborative relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
Ability to influence colleagues, peers and senior leaders while appropriately considering views and opinions of others
Experience in cross-platform/cross-enterprise large programs
Nice-to-Haves:
MBA or graduate / post-graduate degree
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
Experience with design thinking and/or client experience design
Experience with new / emerging businesses and digital business models
