What Is The Opportunity?
As Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overall development, delivery and quality of platform and Head Office financial reporting for external, management and other reporting needs. You will provide production support for quarterly and monthly reporting activities and implement automated solutions according to business requirements and TEO strategic direction. Lead / manage 2-4 Financial Analysts / Sr. Analysts

What Will You Do?
Responsible for overall development, delivery and quality of platform and Head Office financial data contained within external and management reporting and other like platform requirements
Act as the primary logistics person for finance platform requirements including but not limited to coordinating deliverables and hand-offs between finance line of business requestors, Performance Management and internal to Reporting Services
Responsible for the supervision and prioritization of work as well as production / maintenance of assigned reports and models
Provide critical support during month end and quarter end reporting as well as forecasting / planning periods
This position is the first point of contact for escalation and technical support for the Analyst/Sr Analyst and supports Director, Reporting & Production Support in achieving Reporting Services / Finance strategic priority
Provide subject matter expertise in collaboration with FSS and other Finance groups in developing solutions and resolutions to complex business issues through production process enhancements
Responsible for ensuring KPI (Key Performance Indicators) metrics and quality standards are adhered to, and continuous improvement initiatives are embedded within Production & Development
Accountable for SOX and RBC Training/Vacation/Other compliance requirements
What Do You Need To Succeed?
Must have
Finance/Accounting Education/designation (CMA, CGA, CFA, MBA) or Post-secondary education such as B. COMM/BBA with strong knowledge (5+ Years) of financial reporting process
Current on reporting requirements and applying this to new technology
Quick learner to grasp new reporting tools within a very short time frame and apply the skills to develop, run and maintain financial reports
Advanced MS Excel skills including macros/VBA
Minimum of two years of work experience in financial reporting
People management and/or demonstrated strong leadership skills
Nice-to-have
Computer science disciplines with strong knowledge of financial reporting processes and technology
Knowledge of Cognos TM1, Report Studio, BIA, TM1 Perspectives
Programming (SQL, webfocus etc.)
Lean Six Sigma tools/Agile methodology and Quality assurance
