The Team
The GBME- FICC & Equity Trading Technology team is a crucial part of the Global Technologies Applications Group that support the Global Banking and Market business. This is an opportunity to work in the fast-moving and exciting world of Capital markets. We are looking for an energetic and strategic thought leader with Capital Market Trading & Technical background to join this dynamic team and take on a challenging and exciting role.
The Role
The Senior Manager, Product Management will be responsible for implementation of products for GBM trading focusing on Structure Credit business that will address the need of our business globally and further the modernization mandate.
You will help to grow, inspire, and lead our Product team, and will need to manage the solution aspects within the portfolio and develop solution roadmap in collaboration of business and technology stakeholders and mitigates risk through collaboration of cross functions teams and effective operations of your respective area.
You will be responsible for managing a team of product managers and business analysts engaged in the architecting and solutioning of products to resolve complex, multi-dimensional business problems. You will have the opportunity to work with talent individuals from cross functional teams and be responsible to build and delivery market leading solutions that are scalable, in high quality, with adequate and effective controls to meet obligations required for compliance and operational risk and add value to our business partners and customers.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Collaborate with the cross functional teams including engineering & development, business lines and other technology and product teams to build the right products with high quality, on time and within budget.
- Continuously perform customer need analysis and understand business pain points. Identify the biggest problems to solve to build & own the roadmap.
- Effectively communicate and continuously engage & cultivate relationships with key stakeholders in front to back office and in technology, and partner with them to help drive the strategy of the department.
- Prioritizes, negotiate, and remove obstacles to ensure quality product launches.
- Effectively manage a team of technology professional including business analysts, product managers and architects. Develop and grow talent through effective mentoring and succession planning for key talent.
- Champions a customer focused and high performing culture throughout their team to deepen client relationship and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- 6+ years of product and IT experience, with strong business analysis, architecture/technical background.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets trading and products.
- Experienced in building solutions in customer needs in your past roles and have successfully achieved it through a sound execution strategy.
- Managed technology products, trading platform solution end-to-end, from inception to delivery that were focused on making customer experience seamless.
- Experience in hiring, coaching and leading product managers.
- Strong problem solver with ability to influence and inspire a cross-functional team to reach ambitious goals.
- With Curious and Engineering mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical experience in building and supporting trading systems using latest technologies.
- An understanding of the Bank’s application system and software from a business/technical viewpoint is required to assess the impact of development and/or changes to the overall environment.
- Practical experience on agile delivery with deep understating of core agile concepts and practices.
