What is the opportunity?
Senior Manager, for the Performance Measurement Group will provide operational oversight to the team to ensure a high degree of service to our clients for performance related inquiries and ensure the timely and accurate administration of 3 Performance Measurement applications (PRS, ClientLink, and FMC). The team supports DS/DI/IE/PH&N and the E&T business lines for Wealth Management Canada. This role will be working very closely within the larger Performance Measurement and Pricing group, ensuring data integrity of inputs, calculations and reporting. The PM&P team manages performance on ~$300 Billion in assets and is a critical component to the Operations value chain, particularly within the context of new CRM2 regulations.
What will you do?
- Manage a team with 5 staff
- Manage performance reviews, training, employee engagement, motivation.
- Assist employees with setting priorities on issues/tasks to minimize risk and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion groups of daily/monthly/quarterly/annual activities for performance reporting and reconciliation.
- Escalate problems in a timely manner to management.
- Assist, evaluate and review resolution of internal client inquiries to ensure a superior level of client service.
- Review and evaluate operational processes to achieve greater levels of efficiency and capacity
- Provide SME in the successful execution and implementation of business and operational projects and assist manager with analytical research.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
- Level II or Level III CFA candidate
- Exceptional relationship management and analytical skills. Ability to communicate and partner effectively with Front Office professionals to research and resolve performance related matters.
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), particularly Time Weighted vs. Money Weighted Rate of Return
- Strong foundation in RBC WM’s operational and portfolio management systems, Broadridge BPS, ServiceLink, ClientSource, ClientLink, FMC, Persys Macs, etc.
- Comfortable with working independently and adhering to committed deliverables in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

- Ability to present information and data in a structured manner to stakeholders of varying seniority levels across the organization.
- Technical skills required – MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level
