Purpose
Provides oversight and leadership to team(s) performing personal data, job data, position data and org data changes, by measuring, planning, and implementing operational effectiveness plans to systems and processes. This role ensures adequate resourcing, quality control, adherence to standard procedures and service level agreements.
Accountabilities
• Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
• Leads the project execution of local & global policy, process & expansion initiatives, providing insights and ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance across the Global HR Services Operations team.
• Oversees quality standards, policy and procedure alignment across teams and ensures established policies, processes, and guidelines are adhered to and meet business needs as required
• Actively seeks opportunities to improve departmental effectiveness by identifying deficiencies, and partners across Global HR Services Operations, Business HR Partners, COEs, IB countries, to develop solutions with a focus on transferring learnings and opportunities across the department
• Acts as a subject matter expert on Global HR Service Operations, representing the team on projects and initiatives, providing perspective on how to enhance the employee experience and propose improvements to systems and processes while ensure compliance
• Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
• Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations within his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
• Builds a high performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment; communicating vison/values/business strategy and managing succession and development planning for the team
Dimensions
• Manages up to 2 direct reports
• Oversees all activities related to Operational process and policies
• Services a global community and responds within SLAs timeframe
• Ensures business continuity for accountabilities under purview, ensuring coverage 5 days/week in assigned schedules
• Delivery intiatives require the coordination of multiple stakeholders in many geographies
Education / Experience
- Post-Secondary Degree in Human Resources or Business or pursing education in related field
- 5+years of experience as project manager
- 5+years of experience in customer service
- Relevant experience in resolving customer service requests
- Knowledge of employee data administration and end-to-end processes
- Knowledge of HR transaction processing
- Deep understanding and knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
- Proven teamwork capabilities; strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience in conflict / issue resolution
