The Controllers group is responsible for the integrity of the Bell Mobility Inc financial statements. Mobility Controllers support the business unit through compliance with rules and regulations surrounding internal controls (such as the Sarbanes-Oxley Act), ensuring the effectiveness of business processes and accuracy of financial results.
This role in the Controllers’ group is responsible for submitting the financial statements used by Corporate for consolidation on a monthly basis, has accountability for all balance sheet accounts and also ensures that financial reporting is in compliance with approved accounting policy. This person is also the lead for the quarterly reviews and annual financial audit by the external auditors. Understanding of the overall business operations as it pertains to risks and control gaps and process improvements with respect to Service Revenue, COGS and IFRS 15 reporting is an important requirement of this role. Other responsibilities include:
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
