The opportunity: Sun Life is working to digitize its internal operations to provide our employees with best-in-class tools and our clients with exceptional service at scale. To achieve this, we are building a team that can deploy next-generation, agile, business configurable tools throughout our business operations. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Digital Forms Services to modernize our client forms function. The successful candidate will lead a team in managing our US forms portfolio consisting of over 20,000 forms used to service our employer, employee and broker clients. This role will also be responsible for transforming this function by deploying Adobe Experience Manager to increase efficiency, and allow us to provide clients with intuitive, online methods to easily provide the information we need to service their needs.
As a seasoned leader, you bring a strong operational background, deep knowledge of document design and production, and a passion for continuous improvement. You will partner with a variety of stakeholders and clients including Print and Image Services. The Senior Manager, Digital Forms Services is a member of the Robotics & Digital Enablement team within US Group Benefits Client Services.
How you will contribute:
- Lead the Client Communications forms team and ensure we’re providing exceptional service to internal business stakeholders and external clients
- Supervise the design, operation and document maintenance of the Forms Design team
- Control and monitor the flow of work, assign projects/tasks to team members
- Plan, direct and evaluate the performance of a team engaged in carrying out forms management functions
- Identify and drive continuous improvements
- Monitor quality, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), forecasts and turn-around times to ensure consistency of service and standards
- Introduce best practices for forms standards, compliance, inventory management, business stakeholder engagement, and project management that will continuously improve quality and efficiency
- Create a business case to deploy new technology that will allow us to make it easier for clients to provide the information needed to offer exceptional service at scale
- Lead the effort to deploy Adobe Experience Manager across our US businesses
- Ensure the team is optimizing its output without compromising on quality, and that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide budget oversight of the program to ensure that costs are aligned with estimates
- Oversee vendor relationships and contracts to ensure strong value and support are delivered within budgets
- Establish credibility and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, and help educate the organization on how next generation technology solutions can help digitize our internal operations and provide exceptional client service

- Ability to utilize data and analytics including reporting capabilities to make necessary decisions for resourcing and change management
- Ability to successfully manage solution delivery programs
Education and Experience
- 4-8 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience modernizing and transforming forms management functions within the financial services, insurance or related industry
- At least 3 years of experience implementing Adobe Experience Manager and building out an organization that can successfully utilize this technology, including defining the necessary roles, skills, experience, and training
- Relevant Adobe Experience Manager training and certifications preferred
- Knowledge of Adobe Live Cycle, adaptable forms, fillable and routable documents
- Periodic travel may be required
- Some project work may be required outside of regular office hours to support critical time lines and deliverables, as well as collaboration with Sun Life teams in other regions

- Southern region: $73,300-$109,900
- Central region: $77,300-$115,900
- Northern region: $82,600-$123,900
If you are a Colorado resident, the salary range for this position is $69,900-$104,900 annually.
If you are a New York resident, the salary range for this position is $82,600-$123,900 annually.
If you are Washington resident, the salary range for this position is $77,300-$115,900 annually.
We consider various factors in determining actual pay including your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to salary, this position is eligible for incentive awards based on individual and business performance as well as a broad range of competitive benefits.
