Adecco is currently hiring a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Data Analytics to join one of a leading retailer in Canada in their Strategy, Planning, and Analytics department. This cross-functional role is crucial for leveraging data to provide actionable insights, drive informed decision-making, and enhance business strategies across all the Business Units.
This role involves managing a team of 5 Data Analysts in Winnipeg, overseeing the reports they generate, consolidating information into dashboards, and presenting insights to higher management for decision-making.

Responsibilities:
Business Analytics Development:
Develop and implement a Data-Insights-Action-Outcome framework for data analytics.
Enhance decision-making speed and accuracy by leveraging technology and data governance.
Collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to ensure data integrity and availability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Define metrics and create performance reporting and dashboards in collaboration with NWC executives.
Develop KPIs and metrics for business management and strategic initiatives.
Analyze complex business problems and develop data-driven insights for solutions.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of data professionals to deliver impactful business insights.
Mentor and manage the analytics team, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Oversee training, support, and troubleshooting for the analytics environment.
Dashboard and Report Development:
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.
Present data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders, driving data-driven decisions.
Standardize and monitor KPIs, communicating results regularly.
Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics:
Develop models to enhance operational outcomes, including supply chain and pricing optimization.
Create leading indicators for various business areas to drive performance improvements.
Innovative Analysis and Reporting:
Engage with leadership on innovative analysis approaches and data implications.
Design and implement reports to identify trends and support strategic goals.
Present meaningful results and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, engineering, math, statistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or MBA preferred.
7 to 10 years of experience as a Senior Manager
3+ years of retail industry experience preferred.
5+ years of proven leadership and team supervision.
Success in executing complex strategic projects focused on data analytics.
Project management experience.
Experience in a similar role in North America is required
Significant experience with data analytics and statistics.
Advanced MS Office skills.
Expertise in SQL, data science, and visualization tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI, Oracle Analytics) and programming languages (Python).
Proficiency in delivering presentations and problem-solving.
Less than 30 days of travel per year.
