Senior Integrations Tester
Department: Circle K Tech Inc.
Location: Kanata, Ontario
Type of employment: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week
Hybrid mode : 3 days at the office et 2 days remotely
Circle K Tech is the North American Innovation Centre for Circle K/Couche-Tard. Utilizing the latest technologies in embedded design, networking and cloud services, we strive to improve customer experience by adding videos and graphics to the pump screens. THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director, within our Circle K Tech Inc. team, the Senior Integrations Tester will provide test plans, procedures, and scripts to ensure software is integrated, meets requirements and ready for deployment.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Here are just a few ways that you’ll help make journeys better:
Create and maintain test plans and procedures for new and existing products.
Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python, TCL/Expect, PHP, MySQL and other languages as appropriate.
Configure, update, and maintain hardware and software in test environments.
Conduct investigations into various aspects of the products and prepare test result reports.
Create and maintain technical documents.
Conduct end to end solution and user level testing.
Integration testing with various POS, Fuel Terminals, and processing hosts
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science;
Experience in developing, reviewing and executing test cases based on functional requirements;
Knowledge and working experience in analyzing test results and identifying and reporting issues;
Experience with white box testing;
Linux experience and knowledge of APIs;
Knowledge of test tools (testlink, wireshark);
Experience in working on small teams and delivering to plan
5+ years experience using Windows as an application environment
Familiarity with network protocols: particularly TCP/IP, UDP, SSL, SOAP;
Familiarity with version control systems;
Proven innovative approaches to projects and demonstrated self-sufficiency;
Excellent analytical, abstract thinking and problem-solving skills;
Strong verbal and written communication skills;
Knowledge of convenience and gas pumps would be considered an asset;
Ability to work independently
