Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior In-Store System Solutions Director to join our Retail Operations team. Reporting to the Chief Retail Operations Officer, you will be responsible for leading our In-Store System team and ensuring a comprehensive plan is designed and executed to meet our project objectives on system capabilities, store system requirements, and system implementation to drive continuous improvement in sales, retail and customer experience and operational excellence.

What you’ll do:
- Create an empowered environment through leadership, coaching, and communication to ensure the ISS team understands the goals and objectives of the business and have the resources and support to be successful.
- Establish strategic and operational goals and key performance indicators for the In-Store System Team. Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the ISS team, providing support and guidance to achieve those goals as required.
- Accountable for overseeing the collaboration of the continual evolution of the ISS Product Roadmap and the design and execution of deployment processes required to support the In-Store System rollout.
- Develop a strategic plan for the ISS team in cadence with the enterprise planning process. Identifying key opportunities for business improvements – defining scope, resources and time required to complete initiatives, and being accountable for results.
- Participate in strategic projects as required to provide insight and direction.
- Prepare annual operational and capital budgets for the ISS team. Working with Finance teams to analyze cost improvements, and lead cost and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Accountable for leading and influencing change management with our Dealers to support Dealer adoption and execution of the ISS program.
- Accountable for leading the ISS Dealer Panel and its process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Project Management.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within a retail management capacity, along with a successful track record of leading an In-Store Systems team on all initiatives and deliverables to ensure successful delivery and execution.
- Expertise with in-store systems and the system functionality required by hardware and building material retailers.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and inspire a team towards achieving organizational goals and objectives.
- Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
- Strong change leadership skills with a proven track record on adoption.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop a project plan or execute on a predetermined plan.
- Excellent communicator with demonstrated competency in both oral and written communications at all levels, especially in retail activation and retail operations.
- Comfort with public speaking to all levels of leadership and contributing to planning of high focus projects with stakeholders across many cross functional areas.
- Expertise in standard retail operating procedures.
- Understand KPI measures for retailing.
