Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Guidewire Tester to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire testing and a strong background in Property & Casualty Insurance. This role requires expertise in Guidewire - ClaimCenter with Java -Selenium, BDD and Rest API testing experience.
What you bring to the role:
- Overall 7 to 12 years of IT experience focussed on QA in Guidewire testing.
- At least 4 years of experience in Guidewire full suite implementation.
- Strong hands-on knowledge in ClaimCenter and working knowledge in PC & BC
- Experience in integration testing along with upstream and downstream systems integrated with Guidewire.
- Good to have database testing skills.
- Good to have API testing experience using tools like SoapUI, Postman, etc.
- Strong experience in managing client and internal stake holders along with reporting project status.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the quality assurance efforts for Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
- Utilize Java and Selenium to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Provide expertise in API testing and Rest API to validate backend services.
- Oversee the development and execution of BDD scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Monitor and report on test progress defects and overall quality metrics.
- Conduct thorough reviews of test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Participate in requirement analysis and design discussions to provide input on testability.
