WSP E&I is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Technologist to join our team in Surrey, BC.

A day in the life:
- Promote safety culture by ensuring site specific HSE policies and safety standard procedures are adhered to
- Monitor geotechnical drilling, instrumentation installations, and core sample collections
- Sample management duties will include receiving samples, sample logistics and scheduling, testing preparation, and completion of project file documents
- Laboratory testing using test methods such as CSA, ASTM, OPSS for soils, aggregates, concrete and construction materials
- Report writing of field and laboratory results
- You will always ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites and take WSP's Life Saving rules to heart;
What you'll bring to WSP ...
- Geological, Construction or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or similar work experience
- Geotechnical Drilling experience, specifically with the installation of geotechnical instruments
- Experience working in the BC region
- Materials Testing Experience
- Previous experience 10-20 years
- Laboratory testing experience
- Knowledge CSA, ASTM, and Provincial Test Methods
- Detail oriented
- Organized
- Team oriented
- Self-Motivated
