WSP E&I is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Technologist to join our team in Surrey, BC.

A day in the life:

• Promote safety culture by ensuring site specific HSE policies and safety standard procedures are adhered to
• Monitor geotechnical drilling, instrumentation installations, and core sample collections
• Sample management duties will include receiving samples, sample logistics and scheduling, testing preparation, and completion of project file documents
• Laboratory testing using test methods such as CSA, ASTM, OPSS for soils, aggregates, concrete and construction materials
• Report writing of field and laboratory results
• You will always ensure health and safety policies are followed at all sites and take WSP's Life Saving rules to heart;

What you'll bring to WSP ...

• Geological, Construction or Civil Engineering Technology Diploma or similar work experience
• Geotechnical Drilling experience, specifically with the installation of geotechnical instruments
• Experience working in the BC region
• Materials Testing Experience
• Previous experience 10-20 years
• Laboratory testing experience
• Knowledge CSA, ASTM, and Provincial Test Methods
• Detail oriented
• Organized
• Team oriented
• Self-Motivated
