The Senior Endpoint Computing Engineer possesses a thorough understanding of Broadridge technologies and serves as an escalation point for all other support engineer associates.  They are able to troubleshoot issues at the highest level of an endpoint role and provide input/recommendations for endpoint hardware and software technologies.  They can effectively act as a liaison between the business areas they support and the specialized groups within TSS.  The Senior Endpoint Computing Engineer is fully versed in Broadridge’s endpoint support policies, procedures, and standards for delivery and implementation.

Key Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Manage CXO level support for endpoints, provide recommendations for and support meeting events

  • Act as the team lead if at a site with multiple endpoint support associates to help manage priorities and workload

  • Mentor others on advanced diagnostic techniques and tools for unusual or performance-related problems

  • Articulate business impact and criticality of an issue

  • Be a key participant in execution of office integrations

  • Possess understanding of PCI compliance regulations and how it impacts endpoint technology and support

  • Evaluate major benefits and drawbacks of the new version and release of software distribution

  • Consult on advanced functions and utilities of the organization's PC/Workstation/Mobile software

  • Advise on performance monitoring and tuning techniques for PC/Workstation/Mobile software

  • Train new associates and contingent workers to ensure they understand and comply with Broadridge standards

  • Have the ability to analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting

  • Have strong understanding of WebEx cloud solutions administration and provisioning (WebEx, Jabber, WebEx meeting analytics)

  • Be proficient in administration of supported users in Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, Azure and various other management consoles; Telecom Provisioning & troubleshooting skills (Voicemail, PME provisioning and support)

  • Understand and have knowledge in supporting or HP Secure Print Environment

  • Have the ability to lift PC equipment, for example desktop, monitor, server, etc.

  • Participate in on-call rotation during non-business hours.

Basic Skill Level Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent experience

  • A+ Certification

Experience and Skills:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar capacity

  • Expert understanding of BR endpoint technologies and tools

  • Expert understanding of BR endpoint computing policies and BISG related policies

  • Ability to represent Endpoint Computing with confidence when interacting with other technological groups

  • Confidence around higher management, ability to handle CXO level support for endpoint technology and events

  • Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to mentor and assist other team members

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 – $85,000 CAD. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
