We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on a special digital project.
Main tasks
- Understand strategic issues, identify different stakeholders’ needs and suggest approaches, considering the guidelines in order to support the completion of projects.
- Collect, document and analyze information in order to validate and prioritize the initiative’s business needs and make sure that it is in line with the Bank’s strategic orientations.
- Ensure the delivery of a solutions that adequately meets business needs by integrating data management and security (Privacy by Design).
- Carry out various analyses (context, issues, impacts, functional, non-functional, informational, processes, business rules) to produce a diagnostic on gaps between the current and target situation
- Lead workshops involving stakeholders from different sectors in order to understand business scenarios and issues
- Document/co-produce backlog elements (e.g., stories) in our collaboration tool.
- Perform a variety of analyses (feasibility, impact, process) and communicate the results to stakeholders.
- Identify, analyze and document current processes, then propose, confirm and disseminate target processes using recognized modelling techniques
- Play an active role in defining test strategies, draft and carry out test scenarios with the project team
- Actively participate in the partner search process, draft requirements, analyze various solutions and make recommendations on the solutions to retain

Competencies required :
• Knowledge of payment systems and processes
• Excellent knowledge of collaborative tools JIRA/Confluence
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, Teams)
• Knowledge of methods for analyzing organizational processes
• Expert knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes (test strategies and scenarios)
• Bilingualism, spoken and written (English/French) is essential because you’ll regularly work with partners across Canada and abroad
