City National bank (CNB) is a full-service US bank that offers a complement of banking, trust and investment services. In 2015, City National merged with Royal Bank of Canada. We are hiring more Senior DevOps Engineers to help deliver the CNB digital roadmap for the Wealth Management business.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Work with cross functional agile teams to enable the development and release of digital products as part of a regular cadence
Contribute towards the creation and design of intuitive, robust, and reusable enterprise software deployment pipelines as a service (PaaS)
Ensure PaaS offerings will be designed to include Continuous Integration, Delivery, Security, Testing, and Monitoring
Ensure PaaS offerings includes the creation, implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, automation tools, source control, access control policies, deployment orchestration and process standardization
Look for opportunities to ideate and improve the product and continually expand what is possible through technology.
Participate in our community of development and challenge yourself and each other to innovate and improve each day
Work with ambiguity and ask for feedback to drive to a solution as part of the team
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
A team player, technical advocate, keen to flush out and share ideas with your team as well as Information Security, Business and Operational teams

An exceptional communicator able to articulate technical issues in plain language

You keep up to date on development domain trends
You understand web/application security and the importance of data privacy
You bring new ideas and solutions to the team to help solve our challenges
Value your team’s success as much as your own as we celebrate and move forward as a team
MUST HAVE:
Azure DevOps experience in the following areas: Administration, Build and Release
Azure Cloud Services and Tools Experience (Github, Azure Pipelines, Visual Studio, AKS, Azure Monitor, Azure Functions)
Experience with .NET Core, C#
Expert level experience in PowerShell and Python
Experience with architecting devops solutions in Azure
Solid grounding in OOAD and SOLID principles
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent
Azure AZ-400 Certification or equivalent
NICE-TO-HAVE:
Experience working in the finance industry
Knowledge of product development methods
Azure AZ-204 Certification or equivalent
