A day in the life:
- Design leadership in the production of conceptual and detailed design models and related drawing sets for a wide range of transportation projects, including roads and multi-modal systems.
- Working as part of a team, and providing project design leadership, including mentorship and guidance to Intermediate and Junior staff.
- Communication with other disciplines (bridges, electrical, geotechnical, etc.) sub-consultants, municipalities, utility companies, other stakeholders and clients
- Experience in modelling transportation corridors with InRoads/OpenRoads and/or Civil 3D
- Strong familiarity with road and highway design philosophies and geometric design principles (i.e. TAC Geometric Guidelines), Ontario design standards (i.e. OPSS), roadside safety design, and client specific standards and requirements
- Experience in design delivery within both conventional and design-build project models are considered assets.
- Exposure or desire to learn using visualization software platforms or BIM experience are considered assets but not required.
