Summary
NTS is looking for a bright, focused individual who is a self-starter – and possesses strong consulting, strategy and business analysis skills. You will drive change while working in an exciting, fast-paced environment – looking at complex high technology labour solutions, ensuring the most efficient operating models are put in place. You will provide support, as required, to key members of the Labour Strategy team and other teams in an agile transforming team environment.
This role also functions as an key interface with our Strategic Business Transformation, HR, Finance, Security and Contract teams as well as vendor partners working on strategy, design and deployment with overall responsibilities and an opportunity to lead in defining visionary solutions supporting high technology labour workforce. This role will allow you to take a leadership role, and demonstrate your commitment to creativity and transformation supporting an improved service and the customer
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the Network and Technology Services (NTS) teams on workforce labour improvement initiatives
- Work closely with colleagues and other business stakeholders to deliver various new strategic ideas and supporting projects
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define technical and business appropriate solutions that meet high technology employee requirements
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, assist with grooming and prioritization of User Stories, as well as additional business process and operating feature improvements
- Develop high-level documentation, presentations and advanced reporting analytics of current business delivery services
- Understand both technical and business system requirements and how they are reflected within the program deliverables
- Support multi-stakeholder teams through project solution and delivery lifecycle
- Collaborate and present with various management levels including Executive levels.
Critical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Business or Technical Disciplines preferred) or Equivalent Business Experience
- Analytical and technical skills, such as Conceptual thinking and creative problem solving
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead and influence others
- Collaboration and negotiation skills
- Professional work ethic: Self-starter and learner, Strategic Thinker and documenter, Proven Interpersonal Skills, Strong organizational abilities, rapid problem solving
- Agile Practice Enablement leveraging the Agile Framework (based on SAFe) – and associated toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, etc)
- Proven high performer with a minimum 3+ years of related experience as a Technical Consultant and Strategy Analyst focused on business and employee improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Good understanding of current business processes and the ability to document ‘current state’ & future state’ business processes
- Flexible and solutions-oriented with the ability to adapt to a complex, constantly evolving work environment
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative with minimal guidance and be comfortable working both as an individual and as part of a team
- Proven leadership capabilities and a strong commitment to personal development.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel (ThinkCell) and MS PowerPoint
- Advanced Miro and agile tool skills with strong ability to draw processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
